Year 10 Curriculum Overview

Compulsory Subjects

All Aberfoyle Park High School Year 10 students undertake subjects up to 140 credits. This is made up of 90 compulsory credits plus 50 elective credits .

The second semester of Science is compulsory and students have a choice about the area of study.

The Compulsory Subjects are designed in line with the requirements of the Australian Curriculum. The Year 10 compulsory Australian Curriculum subjects are:

C4 Carbon (10 Credits)
Forensics   (10 Credits)
Oceanography (10 Credits)

Ignite students will take part in individual course selection interviews with the Ignite Team of Ms Jenny Johns, Ms Rebecca Smitran or Ms Kate Berry.
