Aberfoyle Park High School is one of the largest secondary schools in South Australia and is located in the foothills of southern Adelaide within 30 minutes from Adelaide's city centre.  In this spacious location, the buildings are surrounded by multiple sports fields in a beautiful, tree filled setting.  The school is situated next to the Aberfoyle Hub Centre which provides easy public transport access as well as a range of retail, commercial, local government, religious and professional services. Aberfoyle Park High School is uniquely integrated with the Happy Valley Sports’ Complex, the Hub Recreation Centre and local Council library that provide our students with extensive additional sporting, gymnasium and information and research facilities.

OPEN NIGHT – CANCELLED

Due to the current uncertainty around Covid-19 (Coronavirus), the Aberfoyle Park High School Open Night scheduled for 5:30pm-7:30pm on Tuesday March 24 has been cancelled.

If you would like to receive a package of information about Aberfoyle Park High School which would ordinarily have been available at Open Night, please contact the school by telephone (8270 4455) or email info@aphs.sa.edu.au to be sent either a hard or digital copy of this information.  The package includes information about our school and information about the process of registering interest in our school.

 

International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme

We are excited to announce that Aberfoyle Park High School’s application for candidacy for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme has been approved. 

Aberfoyle Park High School is a candidate school* for the Diploma Programme. We are pursuing authorization as an IB World School. IB World Schools share a common philosophy: a commitment to high-quality, challenging, international education that we believe is important for our students. 

* Only schools authorized by the IB Organization can offer any of its four academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme (DP), or the Career-related Programme (CP).
